  1. Must be a U.S. Citizen and provide a copy of birth certificate, Social Security card, and Picture ID
  2. Needs to obtain STD testing, TB testing, drug testing (urinalysis), pregnancy testing, a comprehensive physical, vision exam, psychological evaluation, and a copy of all immunization records prior to arriving at Oasis of Hope
  3. Fill out 12-page application (similar to intake form)
  4. Read orientation and information packet, then discuss it and application during a phone interview
  5. Provide a copy of the most recent medical records, school records, psychological evaluation, terms of probation (if it applies), and any information you can provide about the trafficking case. We will also need an approval contact list with email and phone contacts.
  6. Official acceptance letter will be sent if Oasis of Hope feels it is a good fit. If child is not accepted, a list of other programs will be provided.

    • Therapeutic residential home for 8-12 months
    • Intake criteria
      • Must be a survivor of sex trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation
      • Be a woman between ages 18-39
      • Is not a threat to herself or others
      • Committed to living a clean and sober lifestyle
      • Willing to participate in programming, therapy, life skills and case management
      • Enter voluntarily and are ready to engage in a healthy community and programming
    • Provides: shelter, food, utilities, clothing, personal hygiene supplies, medical care, group therapy, individual trauma informed therapy, art therapy, dog therapy, kickboxing, life skills training, emotional life skills, GED preparation, job skills, case management, and transportation through a 24/7 specialized staffing.
    • Five phases: The first four phases take place in an intensive home-like therapeutic environment. Women participate in a structured 24-hour supervised schedule of classes, therapy, and activities focused around a holistic treatment model. The last phase begins as a participant moves into a transitional living situation and continues with supportive services.
    • How to Access Services:
  1. Self-referral or referral from other agencies such as law enforcement, homeland security, anti-trafficking coalition, domestic violence shelters, other shelters, prison, rehab facilities, etc.
  2. Referral form must be filled out
  3. Phone screening assessment
  4. In person interview (or over the phone if not possible)
